In coming weeks, I would
write few blogs on interesting topics in digital marketing. Digital marketing
helps businesses acquire, convert, retain, and increase the value for
customers. It uses tools such as search engine optimization techniques,
online marketing and video branding, social media marketing, and mobile marketing
etc. Although the online marketing activities have the same generic goals, they
are driven by customer data and technology that change the way marketers
communicate with their customers. In today’s information based economy speed,
flexibility, and customer focus are paramount. Size and distance are often
less important than they once were. Today successful businesses engage in
profitable operations in order to perpetuate themselves using internet
technologies for marketing.
In future blogs, I would
discuss the main aspects of online buyer behavior, and digital marketing strategies
that are important. When did these become popular and what are some milestones
associated with them. I would also discuss various aspects of social media
channels in relation to digital marketing and their importance in internet age.
